Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born December 13, 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a pop/country singer-songwriter for over 20 years. The stories she tells of her romance and love at first sight has earned her the acclaim of many during the 21st Century. Swift discovered a love for musical instruments as a young person and quickly progressed from playing in shows for children and then making her first public appearance public. At the age of 11, she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. the following year she picked up the guitar and began writing songs. Swift got the inspiration to write her own material by country music artists genre, such as Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift moved from Pennsylvania along with her parents and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she turned 13 to devote her time in contacting label representatives from the country genre.
